WHAT IS WHEAT SHOCK COLLECTIVE?

Wheat Shock Collective is the official Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective for Wichita State Athletics. Wheat Shock Collective will support student-athletes in all sports at Wichita State.

WHAT DOES WHEAT SHOCK COLLECTIVE DO?

The collective connects fans, alumni, businesses and charities with student-athletes while harnessing the power of Wichita State. Supporters can connect with their favorite Shockers through memberships, tax-deductible donations and corporate sponsorships. NIL opportunities allow Wichita State student-athletes to focus on representing their school at the highest level of college athletics and their education without worrying about additional expenses. Wheat Shock Collective connects these student-athletes with a wealth of opportunities to earn compensation while furthering their professional and personal development.

CAN I BECOME A MEMBER OF WHEAT SHOCK COLLECTIVE?

Yes. Wheat Shock Collective provides membership options for all Shocker alumni and fans, to join at a level that works for them. Members get more! Each membership tier provides benefits including exclusive merchandise, meet-and-greet opportunities with student-athletes, invitations to special events, and more.

THERE’S A PROBLEM WITH MY MEMBERSHIP KIT OR MERCHANDISE. WHO DO I CONTACT?

HOW CAN I MAKE SURE MY CONTRIBUTION GOES DIRECTLY TO THE SPORT I WANT TO SUPPORT?

When you become a member of Wheat Shock Collective, you will be prompted to designate which sport you would like to support with your contribution.

GENERAL CONTRIBUTIONS

CAN I MAKE A GENERAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE COLLECTIVE? 

Yes! You can make a general contribution of any amount to the collective here. Please note that contributions of this nature are not tax deductible.

ARE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THIS NATURE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE? 

No, one-time general contributions of this nature are not tax deductible.

HOW WILL MY CONTRIBUTIONS BE USED?

General contributions to Wheat Shock Collective are used to compensate Wichita State student-athletes and create impactful Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities that help them succeed in and out of their chosen sport.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GENERAL CONTRIBUTION AND BECOMING A MEMBER?

Becoming a member of Wheat Shock Collective unlocks a number of benefits including exclusive merchandise, meet-and-greet opportunities with student-athletes, and more. These are considered “member-only” benefits.
